Radon Testing

Radon is worth investigating and is a concern in many states. Some very serious medical complications, including lung cancer, have been attributed to its presence in the air in homes or enclosed spaces.

Average radon levels in the state of Montana are of concern.  MT measures an average of 7.4 pCi/L.  If you test your home and obtain a result of  4.0 pCi/L or above then mitigation measures are strongly recommended.

At Safe Home Environmental we take your concerns about radon seriously.  We use state-of-the-art equipment to determine if this is an issue in the home being tested.  The Sun Nuclear 1028xp radon monitor utilizes blue tooth technology and comes equipped with integrated tamper sensors as it sits upon a tripod mount.  Combined with the OneRadon app with cloud support means the test results are available in real-time.

The 1028XP monitors take continuous samples once per hour typically over a 48 hour period.  Upon completion of the test, Safe Home Environmental can pull the data, create the test report, and upload the report directly into your property inspection report at the end of the 48 hr test.  All are accessible online either via desktop or your mobile device.

We perform all environmental testing by EPA guidelines for the most accurate results possible. Have more questions? Give us a call or email.
