Asbestos Clearance Testing
(Air Monitoring & PCM Analysis)

Service Overview:

After asbestos abatement is completed, Safe Home Environmental provides Asbestos Clearance Testing to confirm that airborne fiber levels are within regulatory limits. We use high-volume air pumps with MCE filters to collect samples, prepare slides on-site, and analyze them using Phase Contrast Microscopy (PCM) under the NIOSH 7400 Method B.

What Sets Us Apart:
  • Certified Asbestos Contractor/Supervisor: Legally authorized to enter abatement zones and perform air monitoring
  • Certified PCM Laboratory: In-house slide preparation and microscopy provides fast, reliable clearance results
  • Optional TEM Analysis: If a PCM result fails, we can forward the sample to a certified lab for Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) confirmation
